Cody was surrendered to Animal Control by his hunter-owners because he was too old to hunt. On top of this abandonment, he also had heartworm, which is often seen in neglected animals. After being cured of the worms, Cody received a second chance when he was taken in by a family with other dogs. However, due to his background, Cody is aggressive toward most animals. As a result, he was rescued again and is currently being rehabilitated and loved. He is a very sweet dog and, at his age, deserves a gentle hand and a bed beside a warm fire.
