Hayward was picked up by Animal Control with an extreme case of Demodex. But the condition is very curable and he is undergoing treatment. At first, DMR thought he had some Great Dane in him, but it was just swelling on his face that made him appear that way. He hasn't been around people much and is still learning to trust them. He likes to go into his nice clean dog house, roll onto his back, and talk to himself.
